ICE CREAM BY MAIL | FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Ice cream by mail is shipped
next day delivery available to most locations. Due to the time involved in
packaging these orders, we cannot guarantee delivery for the day after your
order is placed. If you need delivery the day after placing your order
please place your order by noon central and we will do our best.
Ice cream by mail can only be
shipped for weekday delivery (Tuesday-Friday) within the continental U.S.
IMPORTANT: It is
recommended that you provide an address at which someone will be present ot
sign for the package during business hours (most deliveries between noon and
4:30 pm) In the event that there is no one present to receive the package at
the time of delivery, the delivery service will leave the package at the
safest entrance available, in order to insure delivery that day. If you
would still prefer the driver deliver the package only after obtaining the
signature of the recipient rather than leaving the package, please indicate
this on your order form or when calling us.
If you provide us with a
preferred delivery date we will do our best to meet this date or we will let
you know via email if we must schedule for a different date. We may receive
your order previous to the necessary shipping date (you will receive email
confirmation).
If you are unsatisfied with any of your items please return them to us with an explanation and we will gladly refund your money and refund any shipping costs you incur.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What
Information do you need to send out a package?
We need a complete street address, with correct zip code, apartment or
suite number(s), spellings of streets, cities and a daytime phone number for the
recipient.
What if I
don't have complete and correct address information?
We need to have complete and correct address information to successfully
deliver your package. If we send to any incorrect or incomplete address delivery
service will charge an additional $10.00. If you need additional assistance
please call our customer service department at 1-888-547-5969.
Can I send to
a P.O. Box?
No. Delivery service will not ship to a P.O. Box. They require a
physical street address.
Can I send to
a college dorm?
Yes, but because of the nature of the residence a signature will be
required. We strongly recommend you let the college student know the package is
coming and to be on the look out.
Is there a
card enclosed?
Yes. We print your personal message on a card then insert it into a
personalized envelope.
How are the
Lezza products sent?
The Lezza products are packed with dry ice in a reusable "keep
fresh" cooler and shipped Standard Overnight Service. 94% of all cities
have Standard Overnight Service, for those cities that don't we offer 2-day
service.
Can you ship
outside of the USA?
No. Currently we can only ship within the USA.
What time will
the package be delivered?
Packages shipped Standard Overnight Service will be delivered between
the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. An exact time of delivery cannot be given.
Will Lezza
call before delivering the package?
No, it is your responsibility to let the recipient know a package is
coming. We strongly advise this because the package is of a perishable nature
and needs to be put in refrigeration A.S.A.P.
Does someone
have to be home to sign for the package?
When sending to a residential address it is standard practice to release
the package at the door if no one is home. Please advise the recipient a package
is coming and to be on the lookout. If the recipient wasn't home the delivery
service will typically leave the package at the front door.
What if I want
to require a signature?
Yes, you can require a signature for deliveries to a home address. A
signature is required for all packages sent to an office.
Will delivery
service keep the package refrigerated?
No, the foods are packed in dry ice in "keep fresh" coolers
that will keep for 24 to 48 hours depending on the size of the package.
